Oh my god, hi. You're...still here. Or maybe this is your first time. Either way...hello.
The last updates done to this site were 3 years ago. So much has happened since then. I graduated high school, got a technical certification, and now have a full time job working tech support. I got really into arcade rhythm games and Lumines, modded my Switch, got a modded PSVita and an arcade cabinet and a Steam Deck, done a bunch of projects over on Youtube. I might've already had a boyfriend by the start of the site, but we've certainly grown a lot closer since then and I've had a solid amount of thoughts with moving in with him at some point, if I can ever afford my own place in this economy. Hurt my hands real bad because of the arcade cabinet and I'm currently in physical therapy. I'm 20 now! My about page says I'm 16! So much has happened.
Over the time I've not been here, I've been posting on other websites. Mainly Twitter, a lot of Youtube, and Tumblr as of recently. But, uh, web2.0 has really gone down the shitter in the past while. One dude buys a site and makes some bad decisions and everyone else who owns a site sees those decisions and thinks "oh yeah, he owns a site, so they must be good decisions!" And yeah sure, the site owner dude has a couple other gigs, so the respect could technically be maybe warranted, but he's bad at those too! Absolutely hilarious. Hate it.
Of course, I used other sites before and during making this too. It was more of a longform and long-term project platform rather than the one stop Cublex shop. (And maybe a cover for making a list of games that weren't blocked at school. Long history there.) But, y'know, with all the website shittening recently, I really should have my own place. Twitter's mid-collapse, who's to say Google won't suddenly fuck Youtube up, or Tumblr won't screw itself for the 659th time? Fuck, Reddit was practically strikebreaking its subreddit moderators like last week or something.
And yeah, this is Neocities, not my own server run website, but as of now it's my strongest place to be, oddly. And it's also the easiest to escape and move from, since you can export and download the everything that's here. My only issue is having the storage and effort to upload what is essentially my back catalog of posting things from other sites, but I'm sure I can manage...eventually.
This place is old. I don't expect to make any radical site changes, but I think I've got to re-sort some things before I being using this again. Most of what's here already can probably go to a legacy folder or something similar, I'll need to bring over a ton of new stuff, maybe play around with more HTML and CSS styling a bit...but I might be coming back.
Or maybe I won't.
But it seems right.
